Students and faculty taking part in the cleaning drive of areas in Dongktieh, Nongrah on December 2, 2022. The event was organized by the Green Footprints Club, the Department of Environment and Traditional Ecosystems and the Centre for Counselling.

The event started from the University, where students were divided into two groups.

The first group began the cleaning from the University and then from the main gate they proceeded towards the entry road of the main road (opposite SBI ATM). The second group were simultaneously working, and they started from the main campus wherein they continued towards the road which leads to the back gate of the University and then went on towards the lane which leads to Lailad.

We believe that such an event will create awareness on environmental concerns and encourage outside extracurricular activities.
