Master of Public Health
About the Programme: The MPH course will prepare a competent cadre of professionals who have a basic understanding of the various aspects of public health and are able to successfully apply this knowledge towards meeting public health challenges in the Indian context.
Duration: 2 years (four semesters or 2040 hours) with 1½ Years didactic + 4 months Dissertation+ 2 months Internship.
Eligibility:Â Candidates with an undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university in India or abroad.
Public health is a multidisciplinary area and applicants from diverse academic backgrounds such as medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, AYUSH, nursing, paramedical sciences, biological sciences, veterinary sciences, management, social work, engineering, law, commerce, accounting, communication, etc. are eligible to apply.
Candidates having non-science background are encouraged to undertake additional MOOCS courses concurrently to update their knowledge of biology and mathematics.
