MASTER OF SOCIAL WORK
About the Programme:
The MSW will help students enhance their practical skills through field work, a compulsory aspect of the curriculum. As part of this, students will be exposed to various environments of work such as hospitals, children’s homes, de-addiction and rehabilitation centres, schools, prisons, urban slums and many others. Besides regular field work, students will be given opportunities to participate in the field projects of the School and the University. The School offer specializations for both BSW and non-BSW graduates. The specializations offered are Family and Child Studies, Public Health, Community Development, Medical Social work and Psychiatric Social Work.
